FiveMinStart ("we", "our", or "the app") is a productivity app that helps you build meaningful daily habits. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.

1. Data We Collect

FiveMinStart stores all data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. The data stored locally includes:

• Activities you create (names, icons)
• Timer session history (duration, date, activity)
• Daily logs and streak information
• Achievement progress
• App preferences (theme, timer duration)

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Contacts, photos, or other device data

3. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play Billing — If you purchase the Pro upgrade, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not have access to your payment information. Google's privacy policy applies to those transactions: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Expo / EAS — Used for app builds and updates. No user data is shared with Expo.

4. Data Storage & Security

All app data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. The data is only accessible to the FiveMinStart app and is protected by Android's app sandboxing. If you uninstall the app, all local data is permanently deleted.

5. Data Export

Pro users can export their data in JSON or CSV format using the in-app export feature. Exported files are saved to your device and shared only at your discretion.

6. Children's Privacy

FiveMinStart does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Since the app does not collect personal data from any user, it is safe for all ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
